Review of the Criminal Case Process in Serbia
To provide input to the design of the next phase of justice sector reform in Serbia, the MDTF-JSS will initiate Review of the Criminal Case Process in Serbia (RCCP). This analysis is designed to contribute to improvement of the performance of justice sector services to Serbian citizens.
The RCCP will provide the following:

Assess the current process criminal matters enter into and move through the criminal justice system ,
-
Consider further planned reforms that would impact these processes with a particular view to barriers to access and maneuver the system, including but not limited to impediments to efficient processing, cost and information gaps,
-
Assess current and future potential entry points for different kinds of legal aid and advice,
-
Identify reform and resource gaps to enhance criminal justice processing and legal aid and advice provision, and
-
Assist in the development of a response strategy.
