Justice minister on combat against corruption

Serbian Justice Minister Snežana Malović has stated that investigations into the Kolubara coal mine and the H1N1 vaccine procurement cases are nearly finished.

She told daily Blic that increased coordination between the state bodies in combat against corruption was giving first results.

“The first results of a tighter coordination between state bodies in combat against corruption are already visible. I have been informed that pre-investigative proceedings in the Kolubara and new vaccine procurement affairs are almost over. It is now important for the police and the prosecution to have reliable partners in the Administration for the Prevention of Money Laundering, Tax Administration and all other state organs,” Malović was quoted as saying.

When asked whether some current or former officials were being investigated, the justice minister said that nobody was protected from justice.
