On April 11, the World Bank, through the MDTF-JSS project and in cooperation with the Republic Public Prossecutor Office, held the second workshop for public prosecutors on digital assets legislative framework. After Belgrade, the public prosecutors from the basic, higher and appellate prosecutor's offices under the authority of the Appellate Prosecutor's Office in Kragujevac had the opportunity to increased their knowledge on the Law on Digital Assets, both with regard to the normative solutions and the practice of the National Bank of Serbia and the Securities Commission in regarding the application of this law. The workshop held in Kragujevac is the second in a series of 4 workshops whose goal is to strenghten understanding of public prosecutors of the concept of digital assets, as well as to increase their skills in evidence colection in investigative phase. Hence, the workshop was designed to further clarify and provide different angles in the application of this law to public prosecutors as case handlers. The workshop was held by representatives from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, employees of the National Bank of Serbia and the Securities Commission. The next two workshops will be held for public prosecutors under the jurisdiction of the Appellate Prosecutor's Office in Niš and Novi Sad.
