The Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs joined the Multi-donor Trust Fund for Justice Sector Support in Serbia. Upon joining on 1 December 2015, the Netherlands committed to contribute 300,000 EUR to the fund over a three year period from 2015 to 2018.
The MDTF-JSS is a sectoral program managed by the World Bank. The aim of the MDTF-JSS is to support the strengthening of the justice sector in order to facilitate its integration to the European Union. Activities financed by this contribution will focus on meeting key evidence gaps and supporting an evidence-based approach to justice reform, working closely with the Ministry of Justice, Supreme Court of Cassation, High Judicial Council, State Prosecutorial Council and all relevant stakeholders.
